CERLE was
founded 11th December 1999. So, it is a young organization.
However, since then:

Internally
CERLE
has created it's own structure, the office of Secretariat, a Treasury,
a Public Relations Department.
CERLE has also tried to acquire new affiliates.

|
Externally
- Has
organized an International Seminar
about "Theory and Practice of Political Representation"
(See
the programme).
It has been celebrated on 28th-29th March in the Political Science
School, Complutense University, Madrid. Distinguished speakers
as Dr. Miguel Herrero
y R. de Miñón,member
of th Real Academia de Ciencias Políticas y Morales,
or Dr. Ken Richtie,
President of Electoral
Reform Society, have participated. Dr.
Fernando Prieto, President
of CERLE and Professor
of Political Science at Complutense University, submited
a lecture titled Propuesta de la Coordinadora Estatal para
la Reforma de la Ley Electoral en España.

- Has
integrated his proposal in the European
Convention Forum (http://europa.eu.int/futurum/forum_convention).
In this way CERLE participates with his ideas in the discussion
about the future European Constitution.
- Has
translated this site into
english, french
and italiano,
in order to spread his democratic proyect all around the world

Has organized assemblies
in various cities where it has presented it's proposals. (Zamora,
Logroño, Valladolid, Mérida, Santa Cruz de Tenerife,
Málaga, Almagro).
- Has
had interviews with various
political figures and has been received by the President of
Congress, Dña. Maria Luisa Fernanda Rudi.
- Has
also published a brochure
and articles in several newspapers and magazines.
