ERLE means 'Coordinadora Estatal para la Reforma de la Ley Electoral'

CERLE is a Spanish non-profit making association, registered in the Spanish Ministry
of Interior with the number: 166.202.

It was founded because we believe that a fundamental reform of the Electoral Law is
necessary to achieve a genuine and more up-to-date democracy at all levels - Municipal,
Regional, National, and European..

CERLE is a democratic organization:

CERLE is regulated by its statutes.

The supreme power in CERLE lies in the General Assembly which is composed of
all affiliates.



The Assembly elects a Directive Body formed by a President, Vicepresident, General Coordinator, Secretary, Treasurer and two governors.
At present these are:

    Fernando Prieto,
    Professor of Political Science at
    Complutense University, Madrid
  • Governors
    Gerardo Hernández y Enrique Boto
